Two Styles and Nineteen Flavors
A classic “row-your-own” manual transmission is a core part of the Porsche driving experience. Optional 6 or 7-speed transmissions are matched with a responsive engine map in 19 different Porsche models. Both transmissions offer engaging driving experiences with short throws that are light and crisp. SPORT and SPORT PLUS modes elevate the manual driving experience with dynamic rev-matching that ensures optimal engine speed and (amazing sound) with every down-shift.
Manual gearboxes are available on the 718 and 911 based models. 718 Cayman and Boxster models will be equipped the 6-speed manual transmission and dual-mass flywheel. 911 Carrera based models in S and GTS trim will have access to the 7-speed manual transmission that also features a dual mass flywheel, as well as a self-adjusting dual-disc clutch.
